I want the 10x ptz but, yet to read a 100% working with no issues reported as of yet ? So anyone have one that worked as I am looking at the V2 2016 model. I have read so many querks to these not re booting to same position or blurry or POS didn't work what ever, I need something on a pole that is weather proof that can be trusted.

I have a V1 that has been good for about 3 months. No issues that haven't been caused by me. I also have a second v1 that I got from a separate retailer that I have yet to get up. And finally, I have a V2 that is en route from good ole China....any day now.

I have 2 V1's with no issues in hostile saltwater conditions. Looking to get more V2s soon.

And, here's a interesting observation. I get no spider webs on my 10x's while my Hikvision 2032s, 2632's 2Ts attract spiders almost nightly. This "feature" alone is worth switching.

But if you haven't owned and set up a few ip cameras before buying this one... then you should look elsewhere. Learn the fundamentals like portforwarding, SADP, and other things before you must be spoonfed to learn the basics of setting up an ip camera. (and if this is your 1st time buying from china... another learning curve) NO ip camera is full-proof, you must learn how to deal with them 1st. Good Luck. (4 posts says it all)

Isnt that the EXIR type IR? I have noticed the same on my 2232's vs 2032's. Not a single web on the 2232's.

I've got a 2016 V1 that's been running fine since about January 23rd. Unfortunately, I came in yesterday to it being offline (BI shows it went down around 1:06pm). The injector was flashing away showing a fault in it's protection circuit. I unplugged it and got to it this morning. I tried a different injector (that's currently running an Enster 4x) and that injector immediately exhibited the same flashing. I tried it's injector on the Enster, and it worked flawlessly. So, I grabbed the ladder (the Huisun is 25 feet up) and went out to the road to test. The Ethernet cable tested fine. I grabbed the Enster off the shed, and tried it up there. It worked fine (so I left it there). I brought the Huisun into the garage and tried it with the injector from the Enster and a known good 3 foot patch cable. No dice. Finally, I grabbed a 12v/5A brick adapter and gave it a shot. All good. So.... that means the POE module is bad. Mine makes the 3rd case that I've heard of the POE module taking a dump. Anyway, I put the Huisun 10x on the shed and am powering it with the brick for now. Hopefully Huisun will give me a new POE module as I'd really rather have the 10x at the street and the 4x on the shed...

So the PoE circuitry is in the pigtail wire and not actually contained within the camera? eek, no wonder these are crapping out.

So looks like your luck has run out with this injector...

I used the same plug when my v2 poe died, so that makes two of us with failed poe using the same plug. That plug does not provide enough power to those PTZs (especially v2 which has a bit higher power requirement) aside from other things and hence I was against recommending this plug with Huisun cams.

As I mentioned before I've been using this with good success,

Well, I'm not so sure what this injector has to do with the POE module dieing... It's not like it happened while the IR Leds were on during PTZ movement. It died during daylight hours with no PTZ movement happening. Also, even if the injector didn't have enough power (which (FWIW) in this case, I'm of the opinion that it does), it shouldn't kill a step down voltage circuit, don't you think?

I'm pretty sure it isn't in the pigtail wire, but rather a module in the cam itself (could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time, just don't see it.)

It's up to you if you want to continue pushing luck with this plug, but I very much suspect it is a culprit. Anyone else wants to test it on their v2 how long it lasts?

So far my gambling has been positive mostly with ptzs. On the other hand my luck just ended when I got DOA laptop from Gearbest.

Anyone in the US selling the 10x yet? I have never dealt with those companies in China except for once early last year bought some e-cig stuff and waited a month for it to get here. :p

I have 3 of the version 1 and so far no problems. Working as advertised. Looking to buy one more.

Seems V1 was the best although not the latest of thier series. Not often the newest updated becomes a lesser product but it happens. I may try the V1 as I cannot see many positives with V2 10x and for sure not he 4x as even the supplier closed then reopened right away after deleting their building poor feedback. The Huisun is a gamblers camera or for those wanting to take things apart. I will wait a few months an see if they get their shit togeather or go with a Dahua mini ptz as them seem very good just not all weather rated. Thanks for your feedback on the V1.

So it seems the POE boards are dying left and right now so sad as I really wanted to have a couple of these. Let me know if anyone has one yet and working for a few months with zero issues. I still have no reports of "no issues" so I am looking for any suggestions of another PTZ in the 200 range. I believe the same or similar issues with the Imporx 10x which Huisun supplies or ?

I am waiting for a review on this one which as the original post says "looks like a fun camera" hope all is well.
