I am able to downgrade my IPC-HDBW4231F-AS from V2.800.0000002.0.R to V2.800.0000000.0.R. But IVS function is still missing. Does anybody experience the same? I still can't downgrade to 2.622.0000000.31.R. Is there any way to downgrade to 2.622.0000000.31.R?
I stupidly upgrade my IPC-HDBW4231F-AS from V2.622.0000000.31.R to V2.800.0000002.0.R and find IVS stops working. Try to downgrade back to 2.622 but get the following error message
"The upgrade package version is too low, failed to upgrade! Some functions of the device has been disabled...
I chose LaView over other brands for the PIR Human Detection Sensor they advertise. However, I don't believe it's working. I opened a ticket for this at LaView for a week but got no response. I am also not impressed with their Starlight sensor. I see no benefit to get the more expensive one.
Finally have chance to play with the video setting from the LaView Net Client. Backlight compensation is disabled in app. After adjust the brightness, the image is acceptable.
After one week of use, I don't think the PIR sensor works properly. I always got false alarm from the cars driving by...
I installed the Laview doorbell over the weekend. So far I like it. However the porch area looks very dark because of backlight. Is there any way to adjust it? Also can the doorbell speaker volume be adjusted?
Thanks for the information. The wall mount looks interesting. It makes more sense to mount it on wall than putting it on deskstop. Do you notice any delay for notification? This has been my biggest concern since both door bell and tablet are on wifi.
Looking forward to seeing your...
Without any change, the notification worked for about an hour tonight. Then it stopped working again. Very frustrated. I am wonder if notification requires Dahua backend server to work? Email notification works though.
I am having the same problem that I don't receive any notification recently. It was working before. I just realize this app was auto updated to version 4.30.000. Not sure if notification is broken by the new version.
I got impression that starlight cameras are good at low light situation with trade off of lower resolution. With brighter light, a higher resolution non-starlight cameras can do the job well. I must be wrong :)
