    Dahua Web 5.0

@EMPIRETECANDY , could you please ask Dahua, what I can do with my 5x SD59430U-HNI, from End of 2019, just 2,5 years old, which are EOL? Because with MS edge I can see just a view buttons, not all, who I can see in MS IE. That would be very nice. Thank You.

Camera changes time one hour earlier itself

@locarno , I had major problems with ntp.org... timezones changed 2-3 a month. Since I use "ntp1.t-online.de" from Germany, I had no more problems.

Smalest PTZ with Starlight for watching breeding kestrels

Hello together, I have a question about outofocus, and if I can set some time of refocus like "i dont care if you think its focused, I want you to focus again"? The reason is, that every morning, 1-2h after switiching from b/w to color, the camera don't focus/refocus anymore and so for ours, I...

    Polarizing Filter

Hello FlipNJ, I did test Pol filter an my SD59430U-HNI... but dont find the sample pictures. Sry. I glue on all my SD59430U-HNI an UV filter (same, what is used für DSLR) some mm bigger, as the lense, over the lens, and so I have on all cameras (because of the thread on the UV filter), the...

Which is better config tool for Dahua?

I just open, what I have installed (but never use): And no, no, no, I personaly will stick with the WebIF via IE. For me, still 1st choice. Reason #1, many funktion are in the native environmet accessable, other tools offer (not ever, but most,) not all funktion. Try the WEBIF via IE and...

Which is better config tool for Dahua?

Hello hdtvjeff, in terms of SmartPlayer, I tried both, and got back to V3.XX. The reason is, I cut a lot of my records, because of records of me and my family, with Smartplay V3.41.0 (not V4.XX). The main reason for me is, that you cut in V3.41.0 in the real time: hh/mm/sec of the record...

    Changing camera password!

Hello Sakalam, I think, there is no way (even not an easy one) of a massiv (or batch) change the Passwords by the camera itself (I have no NVR), because they are a major security funktion and should be chnaged one by one. So IMHO, you have to take the important time, and change them one after...

Who has experience with Dahua 24VAC and a 24VAC to 12VDC Konverter for a mic?

Hello together I am thinking to ad already boughted mic's (WINKASING GK-802A, 12VDC) to ech of my Dahuas SD59430-HNI and the SD59230-HNI. And because I am not a friend of POE, because I have already many 16 and 32-Port GbE Switches (without POE) in my house deployed and dont want to replace...

Smalest PTZ with Starlight for watching breeding kestrels

@holiday, thanks for your pictures. My "problem" by choosing a camera, is more a "luxury" one, in terms of picture quality  And a 4MP camera, with zoom, like the Dahua SD1A404XB-GNR, makes very good pictures (this one, just made, is with 4x optical zoom, look at my little filmes above...

Smalest PTZ with Starlight for watching breeding kestrels

@djernie, thanks a lot. @holiday, it is always a compromise. A camera, who shows the eggs, will not show you the total of the nesting box (just add 2 more films, where the male is on the wooden roll). So, when I count the eggs (in 2020 wie had 5), I am stepping on my ladder a make a picture...
