Update... From the NVR it will playback to preview and everything is good.
This issue is the Chrome Plugin they force you to use when accessing the system from a networked PC.
Any experts have a software suggestion?
Did some more research and playing around... The video is there..if I clip a section I can save and replay it...
If i just try to view it in the playback window.. nothing after 23:00 on any camera..
Experts...I came to this forum to determine what to buy and did.
Now I reach out to you as I noticed all my cameras are missing footage from 23:00 until 00:00 everyday...it starts the new day again at 00:00 no issue. The bar shows green like it believes there is a recording.. but nothing i do...
Update...
UPnP ( Universal Plug and Play was disable in the NVR. However NVR was still communicating with the Internet.
Upon further investigation Dahua has EASY4IP enabled... Not a good configuration to have open.

Update for all....fixed..
tcpdump on traffic... Dahua NVR sends udp port 17 traffic to AWS....54.183.155.14.. same systems sends udp back...keeps session and flows open..(found no documentation of this , as NVR has nothing configured)
when you use the mobile app Mothership just connects to...
Meraki MX device. Does not forward Universal P&P. Looking through all the settings and their documentation... Im perplexed.. maybe need to get to the cli and look at the logs, gui logs dont show anything

Following this thread for info as well... Had made up my mind for a complete Dahua system NVR and IP cameras.... then talked to someone today now its Hikvision NVR and cameras or Blue Iris... Im so confused...:)
