You should be able to obtain this update directly from your NVR... At least this is how I upgraded mine. No issue so far.

    Big update!! NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000000.0.R.20190713

Strange, as I've done it myself from v1.3 to v1.5 just before to post my previous reply. Perhaps the update is locked down to HW version and model rather than geo location... or double check if the NVR is correctly forwarded to the VPN tunnel.

Email Bug fixed Firmware for IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea_Eng_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000008.0.R.190619.zip

The picture from my IPC-HDW5831R-ZE went too dark and out of focus after the upgrade. I've also found that the BLC mode, IRIS and 3D NR were turned off as well both Sharpness and Gamma settings were set to zero after the first reboot. I had to reset the image settings and run the auto focus, but...

@AKhan. Sounds like it has something to do with the warning from the 1st post... What was the previous installed firmware version of the NVR? 3.215.X ?

    DAHUA NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V3.216.0000002.0.R.20190226

The firmware is the one posted by you above, named "DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V3.216.0000006.0.R.20190223.bin" where following the naming convention should be the one with Dahua logo. No? Also, you should update the title as it suggest that the discussion is about the previous version (002)...

@jmcu Thank you for this clarification! @EMPIRETECANDY Andy, this looks to be (so far) only a "cosmetic issue", but as it can bring some level of uncertainty to the brand and/or the seller, it probably should be reported to the development team. Thank you.

Hello guys, I'm not sure if this has something to do with the Firmware, but I've noticed that the "Device Model" in "Info/System/Version" of my new non-PoE NVR5216-4KS2(V2.0) is shown as "NVR" : . Do you have by any chance the same, or is it just me alone on this boat? Thank you for your time

Latest New 20180813 Firmware for DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea

Thanks for the suggestion, fenderman. The smart codec is disabled and it seems this issue is with Chrome only (even after clean cache) as I can see the content of IVS tab in IE... Anyway, I'm going to stick with the most up to date firmware for now.
