Did some testing last night and found very interesting results.
1. I reset 1 cam to all defaults kept the same firmware and when I rebooted the only options I changed were the FPS to 30, the bit rate to CBR 8192 and the i frame to 60. After doing this the problems still existed and did not...
just reset one camera to all defaults - will test again today and tonight. My cameras came with the NTSC firmware but I noticed the most recent firmware on the first page of this thread is for PAL - any reason to not try the PAL firmware on one of the cameras
do you run default exposure settings at night too? ill try to post a video of what I am experiencing both day and night - i may be expecting too much or just have something completely out of whack
Been using my HDW5231R-Z's for a couple of weeks now and am having some issues I can't fix.
1. I am having very bad ghosting at night
2. During the day I get very bad choppiness of cars driving by and kids running up and down the sidewalk.
I've posted my settings for any input

Just got my 4 new 5231R-Z's setup and connected to the Blue Iris demo version. I cant seem to get the CPU usage below 35% to 40%. I am running just the 4 cams on a dedicated PC with an i5-6600t processor. I've tried all recommended setting such as direct to disk. Any ideas what to try to lower...

I just purchased 4 of the IPC-HDW5231R-Z cameras from Andy and I was able to get all setup except one. For some reason I can't get it to connect to the network. The first 3 had no issues connecting and I was able to change the IP's and get them setup. The 4th one will not connect no matter what...
