That's right, it is now restored to defaults via Maintenance section in the GUI menu. But again, I'd still like to know if it is possible to to the same with tftpd via serial.

The thing is that password was lost. I've re-flashed the firmware via serial and tftpd but it didn't restore to factory defaults.

Good news, I just recovered my password from an old browser password manager :) So happy :) However, I still want to know how to force the NVR settings removal, how to 'inactivate' it?
