    Can you say if the Super PTZ is a laser IR? I don't believe it is, but maybe they got rid of the white LEDs and only have IR LEDs? Seems interesting it doubled from 250m to >500m Can't wait for the spec sheet.

    As far as I know there is no 1/1.2" sensor in the Dahua PTZ lineup anymore.

    The hope is there is one with a 1/1.2" sensor. But Dahua stopped using 1/1.2" in their PTZ line unfortunately.

    Interesting as well. I have found Hikvision PTZs to be hit or miss on detection of objects as well. I think that Dahua has a better tracking system, but unfortunately they do not have a laser PTZ as far as I know.

    You mention it has dual sensors, but the Hikvision website doesn't have that verbiage. So is it really dual sensors or not? Also, did you purchase this through Andy? If so, can you DM me the price?

    Dahua is very bad about messing up the release notes and putting a link back to the product. I agree with the rest of what you said and is good to know about Dahua following Andy's lead. Was just seeing if there is anything from Andy's side as a result.

    Installed a IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3, today. It didn't include the star bit tool unlike the original 5442 cameras. I check my other 54IR and found it didn't have it either. Is that to be expected?
