It sets detection range for light to turn on.

Same for all apps. Login into your ap (laview, rca, etc) click on doorbel, look for "more" option and there you will find "delete camera". Once you have deleted it, you can go to another app (Hik, RCA) and reregister by scanning the code again. Hope this helps.

Yep - I have home depot 24v 20VAC transformer. Have a mechanical chime - work like a charm and doorbell does NOT get hot at all. Been place for couple or months.

So my testing with laview is done. I found , same as others, that I cannot use hik tools (connect, Ivms) because laview uses its one directory and I get camera already registered error. Question to ALL, is it worth to unregister it form laview and recreate under rca or hik directly to use...
