    OK, I gave the camera a once over... You guys got the answer... There is a tiny crack in the glass around the lens. Sounds like the problem. For the rookie, how to you access the camera directly to shut off the IR lights?

    Ok I unplugged the extra light. Besides the picture is darker (of course) There is a double ring. like a bullseye. Camera picture of my screen. I still have on board IR lights on. Alien is still watching. Camera looks great in daytime.

    What model NVR do you have? After research, was told max 3TB internal and 3TB external.

    Since no replies yet... I have found I can upgrade the unit to 6TB. A 3TB internal and a 3TB external. A 3TB SATA drive can be put in a Esata case and used externally. Should get me by for now. BTW need to format the drive after hooking it up for the unit to use it.

    Hmm, Back of box uses an ESATA connector. WD Purple ESATA drives max at 4tb from what I found. And they sure are expensive.

    I finally sat down and figured it out. Whoever set up the cameras turned the sensitivity all the way down on the outdoor cameras. Then they masked off the whole area so they would not record at all. I have it figured out now. A learning experience.
