Thanks Andy for confirmation. I'll just get a Poe switch for this location. It was a quick and dirty swap from a previous cam.

I'm having issue with my IR light. I have not had a need to actually use night mode till recently as this camera is in a remote location keeping eye on some construction going on. At first I thought it was stuck in daylight mode, but I was able to remote in and force night mode which did not...

Follow the help guide here to get to the lens.
From there twist the lens in either direction to change the focus. There is some glue between the lens and the sensor. May require a bit of...
I was not able to update based on what the video said.
However, as fenderman said above, this camera is based on the dahula 1831e and you can find a thread where Andy has posted the newer 4k firmware for this camera. I can report that this does currently work.
Side note, the shield on top of...
Hey @dstopp how is your install going? I am debating on some 6mm on the side of my house and wanted to know how that is going/ looks like
@tangent what software did you use to draw the camera coverage above in teal/ yellow?
Here an idea Solved: [Tutorial] RTSP Raspberry Pi B+ Viewer [6-Cam] [4-Cam] - Ubiquiti Networks Community I think nayer also did something similar. I currently have my front door shown on a 7inch by the door. I would think with a little work you could write a script to cycle through through...
You can still view a camera with out having the door bell but it's annoying hitting ok, but if you disable the doorbell cam in setting go. It won't let yyou view cam
Not my video but should give you a Better idea.
You can add 8 cameras or so, but only one can be vieweerd at a time. The unit defaults to the door bell cam each time. I'd you do not ha e the doorbell from dahua it will give you an error
I can only see one at a time as far as I have figured out. to hang on a wall it just depends. If you do not use Dahua special PoE you will need to run a 12V line with it also.
@cameraman27 Thanks for the photo. Does the doorbell work with the existing bell? i.e ring it?
I've been looking into the intercom panel they have. It's tempting....
I agree. Wasn't sure if there was some wired, atleast power option, Specs look decent tho.
Oh! Does your door bell make a voice when someone pushes button. i.e "Calling now"
Well short list.
1. Picture quality not great/ hard to see someone if your door bell faces west.
2. Does not work with...
Any updates on this? I was thinking about this just now for my aunt who wants an easy way to show the front door, but I'm not a fan of setting up a ring with all these other option out
