Does anyone know which configure file in the camera contains the settings for brightness, contrast, gain, etc. I know it can be accessed thru csm but my device keeps setting contrast and saturation to 27 on its own which makes the image way to dark.

These particular cameras where sold at Kmart and are no longer available but you can find the exact same cameras online and they will have the same limitations as Don explained and should be avoided if you expect firmware updates.
