Every now and then I get an issue with BI installs, where BI is not recording anymore, and upon checking, it's because the disk is full, usually it's the disk for NEW clips....
I have checked everything and there's no other reason for the drive filling up except for BI clips... It's always that...
Updated to Blue Iris version: 5.7.9.12 and lost audio on live and playback. The volume icon and control isn't even showing up. Anyone else experiencing this?
funny, most posts, comments, and even some reviews I saw on this topic bashes code project as mere enthusiast/hobby or experimental level solution, not reliable enough to be called a solution.
I've yet to see posts that actually praises it. But I guess, the negative commentaries tend to surface...
I heard lots of issues w/ CodeProject and other free options. Since this is a commercial application, I don't mind paying subscription... I prefer just sending alert images to the 3rd party service and get AI related reports on their platform so that my BI installation doesn't need to be changed...
hi
Is it possible to give open access to anyone on specific cameras only? That's something I would really really like.
Say I have several cameras on my system and I want to openly share one outdoor bird camera to friends w/o the need for them to login.. would that be possible?
We're an installer, we license our own installs off retail and we're looking to save some costs. Wondering if the reseller priv is worth the hassles. We deploy 3-5 systems per month on average. Sometimes 2-3 on slow months.
Thanks man. Have you tried this yourself though? Is it really useful? Or more of a gimmick? because i still can;t imagine how accurate stranger detection can technically be knowing how facial recognition is basically just sampling of multiple faces in your database and for every 1 person scanned...
I know facial recognition is somewhat good (not 100%), but for use case of DETECTING and RECOGNIZING FACES, then throwing an alert when it recognizes a face.
But this client wants the reverse, throw an alert when a face is not recognized. Use case = he wants to be alerted if a stranger is in...
I've set BI to upload image top FTP every 15 seconds (also tried 30 and 60 seconds settings)....
The images are saved in the local target folder (D:\Timelapse) at the set intervals, just fine. Therefore I can confirm things are set right. However, files aren't getting posted to FTP server...
my Base folder is just root (/) because i've set the FTP user used by BI to have its own directory root.
I don't think the base folder setting is the issue since i'm able to upload fine if I dont use directory in the filename setting
Using latest BI as of today, I have setup my cam to save snapshots locally and to FTP every 60 seconds.
The idea is to SAVE timelapse images per 60 seconds, and organize them by date directories.
This was my initial setup
When testing and firing this, BI is able to connect to FTP server and...
I exported approx 8 minutes worth of video (only 85MB exported file), and it took BI almost 11 minutes to export! I've got a beefy Rig too.
Here's a screenshot
Why's this and how can we improve it?
