Nope.
it downloaded fine. I unpacked the zip file and ran the exe, with no errors. Windows shows CodeProject.AI Server running, but the CodeProject AI dashboard shows it as offline and still at 2.5.1. I dont see an obvious way to kick it along, as it looks to be done doing whatever it was...
I updated BI yesterday, and now, after a rebuild and a system restart, seems to be working fine with AI captures and alerts saved with my older version of CP AI (2.5.1). Since the last attempt to update CP AI a few months ago resulted in needing to go back to 2.5.1, I wanted to get a community...
Too late on the above note for me. I updated it this morning, and now the server service wont start, even after a few tries and restarts. I will try reverting to the 2.5.1 version that i have downloaded next.
[EDIT]: It looks like the reversion back to 2.5.1 is working *server service started...
Thanks for clearing that up. I hadn't realized that you built the models yourself. Nice! On a somewhat related note:
What is meant by large vs small model size in CPAI Object detection? Are you referring to the number of images in the data set, or the size of each image in the data set, or both?
Mike, Apparently "objects:0" disables vehicle detection, as the cameras that i added that to now drop them after detection. This is weird. How is a car any more of an object than a person? I assumed that you were referring to the "Default object detection" selection in the AI main tab (which i...
I am tying to understand how the CPAI determines and processes motion/static objects to better understand why detections and IDs are going poorly on my end. As I understand it, motion is detected by BI (could be from the camera, but I don’t think so in my setup) and then sends the initial...
No worries. that is a great post. I am glad someone put that out.
I, like the poster (@wittaj) started a long time ago on the wrong foot camera wise. This one was the first, and only 4MP (not low light) camera. I even think it is 2.4mm vs 3.6mm. It is hard to get far enough away for a...
I thought i also read that General had "dark models"? Are they also in Combined?
What does "objects:0" do in the Custom models filed if IPcam-general is used?
Interesting. I will test ipcam-general this evening.
When I run the original BI snapshots .jpg images of that image (.27.jpg, the one i sent was a high res screen capture .png) and a few more around that time, none of them resolves as a person with ipcam-general or with ipcam-combined when...
I cant seem to get CPAI to detect people after sunset, even though it is fairly well lit by two lights, at my front door camera (old Hikvision 4MP DS-2CD2142FWD-IS). It seems to work pretty well during the day, however.
I read through this entire thread (it took a bunch of hours), but did not...
maybe this applies, maybe not. What worked for me was: making sure that one custom module (only one and none were blank) was selected for each camera that was to use AI, and only one Object detection module was running (status tab), and then restart the AI service (or the BI server with AI on it).
I am back to a running system. There are some tuning issues to do still for sure, but it more or less works as before. below is what i did and feel corrected the issues (a bit of speculation mixed in), in case others get into this rat hole. Note: I did not see previous version of the CPAI on...
I am trying to figure out / tune two of my front cameras with regards to motion triggers using AI. Most of the settings are under each camera Trigger/motions sensor/configure. I think this issue is common, applying to many people’s BI-AI setups.
There are a few things that I haven’t been able...
I am in a death spiral on my BI 5 computer. It stopped getting trigger captures about 6 weeks ago. I restarted the machine and then I realized that the BI version was 6 months old, but I was unable to update it due to expiration of update (part of support). So I wasted $35 on a BI update that...
any idea what is up with the $29.95 / year statement of cost, but $34.95/year charge? It doesn't appear to be tax. I didn't take a screen capture, but found it odd.
