turns out it was the extention cord I used and not the camera or the power supply I thought it was.

Try powering it up via PoE it might work. So no need to switch. Usually 12v input is separated electronics from PoE.

I had to restore a back up of my drive and i saved the roaming profile with my saved objects but My layout and such is not like it was...

Mine is dying and it was a good camera for years. I think a power supply failure hurt it after it got too much volts on the 12v.
