    Thanks for the advice guys, after reading reviews. I am quite interested in the Dahua IPC-HDW2231RP-ZS Starlight Camera or 5231 as opposed to getting Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD. I have already ordered one Hik DS-2CD2342WD 2.8mm for testing and guess I will mount this at the front door and purchase...

    Hi mat200 I was looking at the Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD 2.8 or 4mm for eaves of 2 storey house. I am still researching at this stage and reading through the wiki page etc I currently only have a few Hikvision indoor cameras DS-2CD2422FWD with Blue Iris. Open to any suggestions though Thanks

    Thanks, fairly new to this, I am currently in process of putting 4-5 cameras up and was originally thinking Hikvisions (recommended by a friend) and one Edimax to cover a door behind the garage. Bit hard to explain, but it was either this or a camera mounted underside of the eaves on two storey.
