I used the interface to adjust color but limited to washed out greens and reds no matter how I adjusted the color...thanks for your advice!!

Dakky21....My understanding is that you have to use Internet Explorer in active x mode and that other browser may not work with this camera. However, use ispy or another camera software to monitor the camera. Good luck!! Keep us posted...

The daytime image is washed out color so I just set it to black and white....more interested in the night time IR capabilities. Is there a way to get better color image in daytime and retain the IR capabilities?

Here is the 2.5mm I have in mine....Looks like IR filter on the back, but has slots which I may be able to screw off and remove the filter..huh, about to try it now.. Removed IR filter...used exacto knife to trim glue around slotted retainer, made a slotted tool, unscrewed retainer, removed IR...

Thanks for the quick reply....I removed the original 3.6mm lens and installed a 2.8mm(?) for better FOV and works well in daytime...still have no night vision from IR. Can I remove the IR filter on the lens to get the IR function?

I purchased this model on amazon a few months back hoping to use it outside with an external IR lighting. However, it appears to not have the IR capabilities. Does the camera have an IR filter that needs to be removed or is it a software issue? Any solutions or feedback would be...
