I just made an account to say - I just went to read this docs and someone has blanked the data - I cant restore it as anonymous users dont have enough rights i think. Hopefully OP sees this and can restore?

Powerline can be very dodgy sometimes - you can get packet loss and high ping (and you have to be on the same power ring as the garage to be able to see the powerline data inside the property). It does work well enough for some solutions but a proper cable would be better rather than powerline...
