Well I can't explain it but it was actually a blank password but I tried leaving it blank numerous times.
I'll chalk it up to either being too old for this IT thingy any longer, or one of those little mysteries we come upon once in a while ;)
Awesome, thanks for all this.. the admin password turned out to be blank.
I kept hacking away and with the above info was successful
This is actually a fairly decent camera video wise.. Like I said it was only $69.00 Canadian.
Just trying to establish what type of sound it will capture.
Thanks...
Thanks for the response.. tried that this cam is a real stickler but for the price it is exactly what I need.. It's got some proprietary setup whereby you have to login into a mobile app called PS6 and then create an account on some site in order to be able to use the app to scan a qr code...
This was supposed to be a cheap alternative to get a bit of sound out of an ipcam on one corner of my residence.
Seemed to fit the bill with builtin-mic etc but for the life of me I can't get in the setup or access the camera in any way.
The default admin user is not using any of the default...
Thanks for that.. makes sense to me to offer an additional power option. I can't think of a situation where you would want to run a power and separate network cable but perhaps there would be an applicaiton for that
Thanks again and your absolutely right.. That second smaller little dongle wasn't a mini audio mic plug, but rather a DC12V IN plug of some kind
Not sure what this would be for but probably not a mic input.. although this simple Hik DS-2CD2032-I has audio options in the cam software
I have three ptz currently and I recall that all three have a mini stereo plug along with the poe ethernet dongle sticking out
Can I assume if it has the audio plug the mic goes there and the camera provides power to that.. just enable the correct audio options on the camera itself and blue...
Would someone recommend a good ptz ipcam with audio capabilities...
neighbors kids crank up the stereo and base boost in their garage every time the parents leave.. often blasting till 3-4 AM.
Today I had the police show up and wouldn't you know it just as the police arrive the mom runs out and...
I got soooo sick of these hikvision knockoffs from Amazon.. can't dare reset the dvr or cams for fear of them coming back in chinese.. ridiculous that they can sell these legally buyer beware I guess
I still use the three or four DS-2CD2032-I cams I've had for years but I saved myself a lot of...
I am unable to find the description for this little icon that flashes on a particular camera and at the same time on the lower right BlueIris console
Circled in red on the upper and lower right of this jpeg
Thanks in advance
I was hoping someone would be able to recommend a PTZ IP Cam (reasonably priced $150-$200 CAD) that has sound capability.
I never required a camera with sound before but a new neighbor with an older dodge diesel half ton moved in next door
All I need if for this camera to record sound to prove...
Hi there... take my advice and save yourself a lot of grief with these older Hikvision NVR knock-offs. Blue Iris was the best 55 or 60 bucks I ever spent.
I already had a spare computer so the cost to me was only for the Blue Iris software itself but it was wayyyyy worth the effort
This PC has...
Blueiris 5 server app shows my 8 cameras online and working but recently when I access the server using the UI3 interface two cameras are not shown. They appear when you select the "Full Camera List" but show have "no image" in the little screen?
This came up suddenly the other day and I don't...
