    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

You can wall mount this camera without the wall mount thing. The problem is how you gonna plug the ethernet cable without making a big hole into the wall to get the camera cable into the other side of the wall, to make a proper and safer connection.

    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

IR seems to be working fine (at least it turns on, I don't know how it should work talking about proximity and so on). IVS doesn't seem to be working, I have configured to Intrusion just as the Dahua Wiki says, but in Live View it doesn't show the draw I made as specified in the Wiki. I've...

    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

Weird, it doesn't work in Chrome in normal mode (with extension and so on). When in Private Mode (Incognito), it does work. LOL. In Firefox it also works (no extension installed). Chrome with extensions: Private Mode (no extensions): Now I just want to know before hand (because I will in...

    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

Tested in Chrome. Should I be using IE browser? If so, it kinda doesn't seem right, since new tech basically is never ment to be used in IE. The IPC-HFW1831E model works flawlessly in Chrome, though.

    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

The camera in black and white turns on the IR, which consequently turns on a red light. But I just got the answer here why we can see this RED light when the IR is on: https://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/321780/if-infrared-not-visible-why-the-red-leds In short, this is not Far-IR...

    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

Gosh, and I have just bought one. I mean, I knew about this quality issues in the past posts here, but I thought it was only in some lot. @copland have you tried the solution from @Arjun posted here? I hope mine have this issue addressed and fixed. Do you have any feedback from Dahua...

    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

Hey Andy. Will this review be release before 11.11? My IPC-HFW1831E that I bought with you will probably be delivered tomorrow. As soon as it arrives I will buy the next one. I wanna see if this new budget camera will be better than T5442TM-AS and IPC-HFW2831T-ZS. Oh, and by the way, I couldn't...

Ultra Master Blaster Cheap Hardware for 2/3 1080p 60fps IPCam

I completely agree with you. We have the worst Customs ever. They say that we have to pay high taxes to "protect the local industry". BS. I ALWAYS tell Asia-Sellers to ship via e-Packet. It's the fastest shipment method and trustful. As I can see, you already ship via this method (express after...

Ultra Master Blaster Cheap Hardware for 2/3 1080p 60fps IPCam

Yeah yeah, Gigabit is not necessary for this setup. Currently I run a Linksys EA8500 with Lede Firmware and I was thinking about creating a solution to record a single camera using this router. But this is by far a bad idea, probably the CPU will fail to deliver good performance for this purpose...

Ultra Master Blaster Cheap Hardware for 2/3 1080p 60fps IPCam

Indeed 30 fps is ok. I've seem crap chinese cameras that claims to be 30 fps but the image quality looks terrible (low fps). And yes, I have some spare external hard drive but I can also buy a Single Board Computer with sata support. But speaking of cheap NVR, this Super Mini NVR is reliable...

Ultra Master Blaster Cheap Hardware for 2/3 1080p 60fps IPCam

Hey :) 1) Why not? 60 fps is way smoother than 30 fps. Even for games this apply. The changes between each frame will be more visible and clear, without ghosts and "stuttering". 2) OK 3) What about the device to record!? What do you recommend me? Thanks :D

Ultra Master Blaster Cheap Hardware for 2/3 1080p 60fps IPCam

Hey guys! I'm in a small budget. I'd like to invest in 1 good camera with good video quality for my front yard, and maybe in the future add one more close to the street and one in the back yard. For now, I'm looking for good and cheap IP Camera and I was able to find @nayr topic about Dahua's...
