I understand that but what would that HAVE to do with installing the software on my cell phone. It's the phone I can't seem to get connected to wifi when using the app

I have been trying to install the v380 software for my ip camera. So far the software installs fine however I cannot get it to connect to wifi. Says signal too weak, I even placed my phone on the router, checked password is fine so I have no idea what is going on. Any suggestions. Thanks Don S.
