I'm sorry. I did not depict that correctly. The camera and AP will be attached to the rear wall of the addition, facing the backyard, about 8 feet off the ground (or whatever camera height is ideal). So my question is can the camera and AP be right next to each other? Ideally, both are...- dpcam

Wi-Fi Access Point Interference with PoE Cameras
I am having an addition put on the back of my house. I want to run 2 cat 6a lines back there for a PoE camera and Wi-Fi access point for the backyard. Ideally both in the center of the yard. Do I need to be concerned about interference? What distance should I have between them? Thanks!- dpcam
