Does anyone know the following:
i have the above mentioned (IVS) set up all good and get subscriptions, then viewing the alert recorded is fine (it shows up and in the timeline of iDMSS app it is dark grey,)
So if i wanted to watch the last day recorded in iDMSS i cant.
When going Home - Video...
Did you check your isp is allowing you to forward ports?
do a port checker online tool and test the ports are open
mine works fine like so:
have your cams on a 10.* network
then lan router and nvr on a 192.* network (on the router it must have port fowarding).
your internet connection (WAN)...
the router you dont need to touch dns settings (becase they are for your wan). only the nvr i noticed when i changed it from the above default it stopped working.
make sure that you have port forwarding allowed in your router. you will need to forward the relevant ports.
you can login to the actual camera settings (not the nvr) and set day / night times. and at the specific hour (i.e. 7am) it will change to day and visa versa.
i had this issue for a short while after reseting router.
could login and see cams with idmss and motion all set up correctly.
you have to make sure in TCP/IP settings that the dns is 8.8.8.8 and alternative dns is 8.8.4.4
then idmss notifications started working.
the VTO2000A when it's dark seems to have the LED where the name tag is. On for about 10 seconds, then it fades off and comes back on. Constantly cycling.
Does anyone know how to fix?
ipc hdw4631c-a x 6

i have an issue with motion detect triggering (going off) when the cameras switch between day / night mode at around 7am and 8pm.
idmss sends the alert every day on the hour when the day / night switch occurs.
does anyone know how to fix this . or would the only...
