On the bi app for iOS and android it shows the count of no signals on a camera by camera basis. I think what he is saying is that he is happy with what he sees in the app but he wants a way to view it the exact same in blue iris on PC.

Is a settings export made when blue iris is running as a service different from a settings export made when it is not running as a service? Thanks I am running blue iris 4

Any thoughts on why the alerts show 00sec?

I tried it on a test system I have and it did restore my alerts list. From the saved alert images which was nice, however it says all of the alerts ar 00sec long. I guess that is better than losing the alerts altogether.

Thank you for helping me better explain myself. You seem to know exactly what I am talking about. I know of that option to save hi resolution alert images. That really is the question here will these hi res alert images restore, the alerts when the database is recreated?

figured it out, there is a camera setting on the watchdog tab labeled Restart Camera Window After xx sec. I had this box checked. I simply unchecked this option in watchdog and I am back to seeing no signal count appropriately. Thanks Everyone.

Yes, but I recall disabling the tracking of no signal counts. I just can’t recall what I did. I am confident these cameras are getting no signal blue iris just isn’t reflecting it.

How do I ensure blue iris is keeping count of NoSignal? What setting is it? 3 of my cams it works as expect. The other 5 always show 0. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thank you for letting us know that you cannot change the name of a blueiris reg file. I kust ran into this issue trying to restore a system that was critical I could not for the life of me figurre out why it wouldnt start back up.
