Loved electronics as a kid, so at age 19 obtained my First Class FCC license. Worked communications (2 way AM, FM. phone patch, TTY) for a year and a half. Wanted more. Went into air traffic control RADAR. Old tube types with over 2 million watts (hence my forum name: fps66), to modern solid state wide pulse systems. Automation, and microwave systems too. My family got into ham radio also. My call KD0OAL. I enjoyed the ride.

Now retired moved to the countryside, renovating a house. Going to install cameras and nvr part for security when we're not home, part wildlife watching.
