NVR HDD
I finally bought two HDDs. Western Digital Purple, 8TB, 128MB Cache WD80PUZX Got them delivered yesterday, installed this morning & it works as it should. The NVR detects the HDD & formatted capacity is 7452GB. DS-7616NI-K2 @ f/w v3.4.95_170626- frav

Haven't yet bought any HDDs since I haven't had the time to install the cabling & all of the cameras yet. So for the moment I use the edge storage with 64GB Samsung EVO Plus microSD.- frav

Hi, I have soon two DS-7616NI-K2/16P NVRs & need to plan for HDDs. According to... Hikvision Europe ...the DS-7616NI-K2 can handle up to 6GB HDDs. But in the latest "HDD Compatible List for Hikvision DVR/NVR v20170112"...- frav
