thanks alastair. I have tried it. But not to much success. To be fair it didn’t find my other cameras that do work. I tried different versions. with the firewall turned off too.

I have 2 hikvision and 2 Dahua (soon to be 4) and one cheap Chinese camera. All work with motion. However. Since I first had my set up. When I had just one hikvision if I adjust the sensitivity of the motion it won't record motion until I reset the nvr. So I just leave it set to defult.

Ive been looking at some ip cameras on aliexpress. The cheaper ones all say they are now in Chinese only. Is this a problem? Will these work with a hikvision nvr. Many thanks

Hi there I have 2 hikvision ip cams for my hikvision nvr. Want to add a couple more. Is there any known cameras that are under £70 that work with motion on the nvr. Thanks gareth

I couldn't get it to work. In the end I sent mine back. It was coming up with the motion true events. I could set the area and anything but still no good. I contacted reolink and they said it should work.
