This ended up being the substream that the app pulls from didn't save the settings for video and audio. You would have audio in HD but picture would be screwy, main stream. The substream is the default capture on either Hik-connect app or IVMS app. Thought I would share what I found.

I have no audio coming from the camera's when using the app. If i log into the web gui on the nvr and live view the cameras from IE audio is there and working. Also the recordings are all there with audio. Any suggestions? TIA, Gary

Trying to Set up the email server. When I press test after creating the account it crashes the Blue Iris software and closes it. Ever seen this?
