The second location has gigabit broadband so should be okay. I’ve done port forwarding but I’m new to vpn connecting routers between locations. Is this straightforward? Do you know of any guides or software that works to enable it? Sorry to ask newbie questions

Hi yes the latter. One pc and blue iris licence at one location with the cameras from the second location on the same device. I’ve 5g backup and a power supply at the main location so resilience is pretty good - one of the reasons for going down this route

I have the same issue today. Not impressed as the reason I have been a long term BI fan is I thought we avoid server dependence at BI or any cloud hosting of elements. Why do they need to do this as the key authentication should be locked to your local machine once done. If BI servers are down...

Hi there - you guys have better eyesight then me for sure as the pin holes are tiny. Is it just the case of putting a bit of wire between pin hole 1 and 2 to short out? Thanks in advance

Another thought, if this integration were possible, I’m assuming it could be used to kick off other skills such as turning on lights on detecting motion on a specific camera via Alexa skills? I use Alexa but have not tried with ifttt skills
