FWIW, I didn't have any issues during testing inside house about 30ft away from the router with a wall in between and a 40A 16v transformer.
I have it hooked up now to the 10A 16v doorbell transformer and no issues, though I do have an AP (through powerline) at the front of the house, probably...
DMZ is only needed to make the connection. I can remove it from DMZ once I see it showing online with hikvision. It stays connected until a reboot. This is with no port forward rules in place. Port forwarding doesnt seem to work for this camera for me.
Update:
180726 fixed the issue regarding the doorbell ringing constantly until the call is answered/declined.
Still unable to have it connect to Hikvision's servers though. I might have to find some time to retool the network, put in another router in place of the Hitron performing the...
