I thought it was only 2.4 compatible. Does it work on 5GHz as well?

Does anyone have any experience with using the different apps with iOS? I've been using the HikVision app, and it adds about 20% battery drain over the course of a normal day. Is this about normal with the other apps? Are others more battery friendly?

Thoughts on if I should add a wedge (either down and/or to the left)? Not sure if it would be worth it.
