Thanks for the help everyone. It was my computer(BI help says 127.x.x.x is your own PC) now and then making the noise. No bigee. I also turned off the sound.
Nobody watching that should not be watching...........
I sure love BI.
Why am I getting the "pop" sound over BI so often now?
I used to notice it when I would open the remote BI view with another computer on my lan. Now I hear it often. We are not hooked up for anything to go out to the wan. We only view cameras on our lan and record manually.
I do have the sons...
Property values skyrocket in Colorado.....really? They are doing the same in Washington.......wonder why?????
Ahhh progress.
We are growing in North Idaho but much slower.
Just pulled one of these lost girls out and put it in the back field. It is several(~4yrs) years old. PoE. A nice cam for our simple needs.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend different display settings. It is facing due south.
I've included a BI snap and current cam display settings...
I am sure glad this is not the camera of my choice(very high demand). My choice would be the 49225T. I have always dreamed about a good low price PoE ip PTZ. Yup, @nayr is correct. They are often toys for newbs and are usually not practical for real urban home surveillance.
So I'm kind of a newb...
Connections like Andy are rare indeed.
Sometimes they need some slack because they do a good job and are therefore very busy.
I was very close to ordering but decided to wait for him to get caught up a bit.
Like the old days. You find a good hook, you need to have extra understanding of their...

Thanks again.
@mpbcam.....We live in a draw.....very close to the bottom of the draw. Much of the good stuff to watch around here is above the horizon. I can only get the camera mounted up so far.....and that will be using a big fir tree.
Thank you for the response. I appreciate your thoroughness.
I was just wondering......what if you just spliced in to the stock PoE cat6 close to the camera, catch the 12V lines then slip a 5.5 x 2.1 plug on the splice(proper polarity)? Maybe sounds hokey but if you did a good job with the splice and the insulation.......? Or is it a no no to splice into...
Have not been around here in a long long time. Now I am getting excited again. I have been waiting and waiting for a good outdoor IP PTZ at a price my wonderful wife will accept. I have begun showing her some vids and keep saying......"....see, if you had a good PTZ cam on BI you could see all...
