The 12V power adapter worked, so it does indeed look like a power problem.(Thanks Andy!!) I'll order a new switch tonight, which should fix everything. I found a spec sheet for the switch suggesting it should support POE+, but it looks like I found another suggesting it doesn't. Seems to work...

I'm utilizing the same switchport & cable that successfully powered the other two cameras I received: HFW5231E-Z5, HDW5231R-ZE. Both of those cameras are now successfully running on other ports with much longer cables. The switch is a Netgear GS110TP which supports "POE+".

Solution found: My POE switch was not POE+. I got a new SD49225T-HN(Thanks Andy!) that is displaying the following problem: 1. When I power it on, it pans 360 degrees. 2. It never tilts. 3. It responds to about 4 pings on the default IP address. 4. It goes back to step #1. I'm wondering if I...
