@bp2008 you are amazing! Now that I can export AVI clips directly I will hardly ever have to go to the console on my server directly. If you and Ken can add a menu to UI3 where I can add cameras and check for server update I'll probably never have to log in to my server directly again.

Can you verify the files actually copied over correctly? Where are you putting the files?

This sounds like a good use case for virtualization and/or containers. That way you could isolate these workloads.

This is exactly what I use UI3 for. I only fire up the native interface (which is running on a headless server) when I need to apply updates, add cameras, or change the config. The native interface can also trim clips when you export them which is handy. So there are limitations to what UI3...

I think have a basic menu for everyday config and then and "Advanced" menu for power users may be a good idea. Even if this particular issue doesn't require a menu item I'm sure more things will come up in the future that 90% of users don't need.

Accessing BI server w/o port forwarding...

I would setup Open VPN, you can use a dynamic DNS so that the VPN will reconnect if/when the IP changes. As far as backing up recordings goes that could use a fair amount of bandwidth, make sure the campground is ok with this, and that they can even handle it.

I can't reproduce this on Chrome on iOS. Maybe something Android specific?

For the maximize feature, is there a way to pass this through the URL like there was with UI2?

I use UI3 :D I really don't have any other monitoring or alerting setup. I'm in the mobile app or UI2/3 enough to keep an eye on it.

I'll play around with the frame size, right now it's not set. My CPU usage on BI hovers around 35% with UI3 open. I'm running BI on dual Xeon E5620's, although the Blue Iris server is virtualized on a host with a number of other servers so it shares the CPU. I only present 8 cores to the OS...

They are rolling out the Fall Creators Update in waves. But you can force with this utility from MS: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=799445

Good call, I should've mentioned the browser. I do get this on Edge as well, I'm running the fall creators update. I've attached screenshots of each issue. In one of the screenshots you can see that the red border is only partially drawn around the camera in the lower left. It flickers...

2 minor issues to report. When viewing the default "All Cameras" group in H.264 mode there are vertical grey bars on either side on the image. It doesn't interfere with viewing the cameras in any way and doesn't happen when viewing a single camera or custom groups. Sometimes the red box...

Hikvision is able to send motion events to Blue Iris btw. I've seen a modest reduction in CPU usage by doing this.
