The real trick I found even if a region is defined and it is not triggering is to try and change the region and save the config, it may fail that tells me time for a factory reset. I have had it happen a few times now to a few different cams. One even within a few days of setting it up.

I agree, but I already updated with the new firmware with no issues. My NVR and all my cams were purchased from Andy. I was eager to get the MP4 download option, which of course I have not tried yet.

I did see that in the release notes, but if all the cameras and NVR are bought from Andy how would it know the device is in the US? I buy everything from Andy so I trust that every thing is compatible as international versions. And if they don't want people buying the non-US version they should...

Cat 5e should be fine for any home unless you plan on pushing 10gb networks.

I agree, but getting a CAT 5 to most doorbells in existing construction is not likely easy, especially when you consider the connectors and burying them in the door frame.

Well even if it does not use ONVIF I am still interested becasue I already have a starlight pointed at front door, but would like something the wife can get notified on her phone and pull up quickly like Ring. Please keep us posted. Thanks!

Excellent and when is this available? Pricing? And can this work with their NVR as well as the app and cloud? I just did 11 cams and a NVR5216 and wife wants a doorbell camera was trying to avoid getting a Ring.

Is this battery or hard wired? I really want a doorbell camera that can replace my hard wire doorbell for power then WiFi is fine.

OK I put this firmware on my NVR5216-4KS2 without any issue and it preserved my config just fine.

I used the PFA139 since it is same size as the base of the turret, the only downside is there is not very much room inside the box once you put all the cables in it. I am putting together some docs and pics of the setup I installed using almost only the Eco-Savvy 3.0 torrents.
