Just an update that I was able to get a fix for my license issue. Andy was able to send a new config tool where you can access the license section while in English. I added the cameras manually rather than letting tool detect them. Bam, update worked. Cheers to Andy for working through with me...

Firmware is generic, the license is cam specific. Unless there's a logic change in the firmware maybe for the license check?

Apparently it is a license error rather than a firmware error, so regardless of what firmware is loaded, unless the license is current and valid you will always get the triangle error.

Yes, having issues and Andy was unable to assist. He has gone back to Dahua and waiting response.

TBH, not happy about buying cameras with faulty files. Now I have to chase down a POE injector, connect to a switch and work through ip issues, navigate a program in Chinese language to send files away (x 3) for someone to fix them @ Dahua and send back, then upload, set cameraas back to default...
