Didn't want to shell out for the pricey crimp tool, so I've been using the CAT6 EZ-RJ45 connectors with these $13 TRENDnet crimpers fine - just that I have to manually snip the leads and pull the cable back a bit by hand before crimping.

Thanks; yeah, I was trying to optimize it to just about $600 after coupon to maximize both Amex credits. Figured I could easily add a cheap SSD myself. Other extras include Win10 Pro and a Wi-Fi card (not that it'll be used since this will be hooked up to the cameras' PoE switch)

Yes, it does work on Dell Outlet as the charge still posts as Dell.com. It's also nice that Dell allows us to split the charge on more than one card (if you have more than one Amex with the Dell offer activated).

Were those the 5.5" ones? Though it was a tight fit, the 4" round junction boxes worked fine for my smaller mini-dome install (2542).:)
