    Agree. But this thread above says that with a firmware update, IMOU cameras stop working. Its true for me too. Therefore, I have to stay on the old firmware and be careful. Or change the entire system, but this is an expense

    The new version of config tool (5.001.005) from dahua does NOT support login to imou cameras anymore. If you try to add an imou camera manually by typing ip address and provide username and pass you"ll get message "login prohibited". If you try to scan, you will see nothing...Stay with 5.001.004.

    This is my: Device ModelDHI-NVR4104-4KS2/L System VersionV4.002.0000000.6.R, Build Date: 2023-10-09 Works perfectly with imou cameras. And yes, EOL too. Last firmware dated august 2024, ver. 4.003. Does not support Imou.

    Yes, twice with no success. My nvr has 20231009 firmware and work with imou cameras flawlessly.

    Well, i found the 4.002 firmware for my nvr on the dahua site. This firmware doesnt have issues with my imou cameras. Again, since Dahua released their own cameras similar to imou, the new firmware obviously have hardcoded ban. This is my opinion. Stay with old firmware)

    Well, the firmware is 4.002. My nvr has update 4.003 released this year. IMOU cameras do not work on this version. I return to 4.002 - and everything is fine

    If you have 9 IMOU cameras consider to buy IMOU NVR.\ Not the best idea, but still cheaper than replacing cameras. Or find a dahua nvr from last year or earlier. I'm sure such equipment can be found without problems. IMOU cameras work perfectly on last year's firmware.

    All IMOU cameras that worked on Dahua NVR before the updating with new firmware stopped working. After rolling back to the old firmware they work again as if nothing had happened. This has been tested on several Dahua NVR. Stay with old firmware.

    After further investigation it seems (in my opinion) that Dahua has banned (on new firmware) IMOU cameras on his NVRs since releasing their own cameras with similar capabilities (Hero series, for instance). Stay with old firmware. All functions going well
