Thanks! I was seeing the opposite - the first few minutes would work, then it would hang at a frame for the rest of the BVR file. I still see the JPEG on the clip for alerts, but the video isn't playing back.
I disabled hardware acceleration and will see if that helps or not.
Thanks for getting back.
I checked today, and there is only one folder - e:\blueiris\storage. Right now it has 129GB of data
Blue Iris is now reporting:
e:\ (129.6/447.0G)
Stored (68.9G/400G)
For some reason Blue Iris is not finding the right size for the stored folder. There is nothing...
My goal is to keep:
- 21 days of continuous recording
- 30 days of alerts
I tried to split this up between keeping recent stuff on the BI machine, but I have run out of space a few times. Could someone take a look at these settings and give feedback on if they make sense?
I'm trying to tier...
Of course - I use SSDs because I want to keep the camera system quiet, fast, and low power. None of the cameras are set to Protect (read only) == true.
I think the root of the problem that I'm running into is that I can't tell if/when a new storage quota is applied or enforced. I wanted to...
Did you ever figure this out? I've been manually deleting old files and rebuilding the db. All the sizes I specified were less than my drive size.
I just blew cash on a big ssd for my archive folder instead of the nas but I'm not sure yet if it will fix the problem.
