In my opinion TinyCam is unsurpassed due to hardware acceleration/decompression. It supports fps display and shows 8fps here on s/w decoding and ~18fps (20fps max) on h/w decompression (on I9506/Snapdragon800/quadcore/2048x1546/RTSP/TCP). The low s/w framerate seems the same like on iVMS-4500...

The data sheet only lists 105.2°-31.9°. The other one is listed on other cams like 4xx2 domes (googled quickly).

It sends 2048x1536 scaled to 1920x1080 here for sure ("flat heads"). I will flash 5.3.0 tomorrow.

Can you upload two sample files (one of each)? I suspect simple preprocessing that mathematically improves compression (at best). They do similar stuff on the 4MP models where you can clearly see interpolation at times. That's not always better, especially if you're going for max details.
