Hi, I need to build a cross line detection system. We will use 14 cameras + Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/S. The question is about the cameras - do they have to be Hikvision cameras with line crossing functionality? Can non-Hikvision cameras be used, eg Longse BMMB5XFG400? Or RaySharp CH258MNA-2812PW?

I find a solution - just adjust I-frame interval to low value /default is 50/

Camera is DS-2CD2642FWD , MJPEG is need for LPR in Milestone system. With H264 detection is only on 1 frame per second.

No, only lan. On PC, on Laptop, on Milestone server same things - video stops for 4-5 sec. Hikvision DVR and IVMS 4200 work without problem. 1920x1080, 20fps, 4096 bitrate are camera settings.
