Try to set up I-Frame interval to 50 or 60. That is your actual I-Frame setting?

Did you have any screenshots of the webinterface from the LT Firmware? Did you flash the normal firmware from LT Website?

Did LtSecurity firmware 5.3.6 have 4 line crossing areas?

I had absolutely no problems with 4 aktiv line areas. -.-

Hallo, i updated my 2042 to 5.3.6 too. With 5.3.3 i had 4 line detection areas. With 5.3.6 its only one area. Anybody knows why hikvision changed it from 4 to 1? thx

I got the cam via Aliexpress to Germany. Shipping via DHL in 2 days. Aliexpress got it directly from hikvision.

Hello, i got a 2042 english version with firmware 5.3.3 and no problems so far.

I think its the first second firmware for the new cameras. So we have to wait a liffle bit. I´m sure it cam be fixed with new firmware. DS-2CD2032-I is nice fpr 1080p, but DS-2CD2042 has much better picture and videoquality.

For me too. I used DS-2CD2032-I before and have to use thresholds between 30 and 35% line detection to detect people and cats for example. With the new DS-2CD2042 i have to use over 80% to detect people. But I think even that does not always work. Little bit irritating.

I got a DS-2CD2042WD-I too. Instead of the Hikvision Profile i use the "ONVIF" Profile and "ONVIF Cameras" as model. So you can use the max. resulution. Nice quality btw.
