Yes! I have really learned alot from the members on this forum in the short time I've been here. Without their expertise I would still be in the dark , with Reolink Cameras hanging on my house trying to figure out how to get them to connect to Blue Iris.. I told my Husband the caneras are going...
I fell for the Reolink Cameras too. I called myself doing research but I failed miserably at it because I didn't see any bad reviews until after I bought the Reolink cameras.. I was disgusted.. They are going back today.
I'm so glad I seen this. I actually fail for it and bought the cameras.. I'm returning them this week and hoping I can find a good camera that can pick up in the pitch dark night.
I love this website! It has a wealth of information for someone like me that's easy to understand. Cable will be above ground.
Thank you so much for all your help!
I actually read it somewhere on Reddit. It was the only time I seen anything about fiber optic internet. I remember reading a comment to the poster that if he was on fiber internet that he would need a poe. I went back to look for it because I was going to link it here and now I can't find...
Thank you! I just placed the order so I should get it in a couple days. Now I have to purchase my cable and tools to get the installation started.
Should I purchase some POE Injectors? I read something about needing them if I have fiber optic internet. I don't know if that's true because...
Right now I will only have 3 cameras I'm going to put up and I want to get 2/3doorbells for all my doors. So that will be 5 and yes they will all be POE.
I found one on Ebay thars used but that might not be a good idea to purchase a used one, I may end up having to buy a battery for it in the end. I'm going now to purchase this off Amazon.
So can I use both of them at the same time? I'm sorry I don't know anything about POE switches or poe injectors, I just know or I think I know I need one to hook up the cameras to the computer.
I am going to purchase a couple new cameras and then I will still have a reolink 811A camera...
