After much research I take back my H.265>H.264 statement because there is a trade off for up-scaling the codec compression. There is a trade off of a larger load of processing power on your CPU in order to compress the video. It is a double edged sword.

This camera looks like the camera I want, however, I would like for it to be H.265. Alibaba has H.265 on the page but the specs on the Longse website say that the camera is strictly H.264. Does anyone know if a H.265 version will be released soon? Or a comparable H.265 similar camera?

What does homerun the wires mean exactly? What does homerunning the wires entail? Is Homerun a verb? I am a newbie. Or is it a Homerun HD device? Thanks so much
