    SMTP Relay server issues?

What settings are you using for Gmail? I could never get it to work. Nowadays the email providers are wanting OAuth2, and I don't see that option in the Dahua NVR. I was using Outlook.com for the longest time, but they just changed their requirements, and now I cannot use it. Mike

I stand corrected. I verified, and I do have the NVR LAN port going to my router, and one of the NVR POE ports going to my POE switch. :) @steve1225, thank you for the suggestion. Deleting the NVR profile in DMSS and redoing was actually the fix. DMSS is working great now. Now to optimize...

Thank you! I will give those settings a try. I realize it affects recording retention, but I am usually good with a week. I see that you are using h.264h rather than h.265; Is this just for better quality and your hardware will handle it? Kind of like your last sentence "but if you can...

I have done a lot of reading/videos and created a reading list of different settings, but still need to go through them more. I notice that a lot of people have different theories, and that's where it gets confusing...

NVR Model is NVR5216-16P-4KS2 As for overloading, it shows that I have plenty of bandwidth available, assuming I am reading this correctly... The stuttering/skipping is only on DMSS, when it works. It ran fine before this latest issue. All camera settings are made in the camera using a web...

No, the POE Switch goes to the NVR's LAN port, and the POE port on the NVR goes to my router.

Your post is very chaotic one.. Sorry about that... :) I also included screenshot of other screens just to show that things like sub-scream were active, what all the bitrates and other settings of cameras were, and anything else I thought might help. 1. does NVR over HDMI shows video feed...

Hi all, So I had everything working fine on my setup, although after various updates (physical and firmware), my cameras started triggering on motion instead of triplines. Well I got that all fixed, and during some research on camera settings, I read a post of someone stating to put the...

Need to turn off IR (New GUI)

Oh, didn't know that about the brand. I have bought all my cameras from Eddy. :) My other 2 cameras that I just got were labeled EmpireTech. I didn't realize that they were one-in-the-same... As for the IR settings, thanks, found it. :)

Need to turn off IR (New GUI)

Hello all, I purchased 3 different cameras to test nighttime functionality, and I am trying to turn off IR on 2 of them to simulate real world conditions. These cameras have the fancy new UI, which I have never see before. How do I go about turning off the IR on 2 cameras? The cameras in...

Wireless Nanny Cam to Dahua NVR?

Oh cool... And could I just use a WAP placed near the NVR, or even the powerline ethernet adapters?
