Just wanted to update for those that helped. I returned the first batch of eoc convertors & purchased another brand. The newer convertors powered up without the Poe switch. . I had to have the passwords on the cameras reset by LTS. That was done on a Friday & I installed the following Sunday...

I received the poe switch, plugged it in and they powered up. . I had to make up 3 coax cables with bnc connectors. Got 2 of the 3 working, one cable is bad (my fault never crimped bnc before). I got 2 of the 3 cameras working. Will try to re-crimp the bad cable tomorrow. I want to get all 3...

I embarrassed to say I didn’t even think of using a piece of coax to test them at home. Tunnel vision set in. Thanks again

No I did not. I will try that after work today. I did bench test them with the cat6, now I’m wondering since I ran the system with the cameras hooked up with the cat6, should factory reset the nvr.

I just ordered one. It may be a few days before I can get back to his house to try it out. I sent the eoc company a message to see what they think. At least with the switch they’ll get power. I’ll post any updates. Thanks to all who are trying to help me out. I appreciate it.

Have you used the convertors before? I'm wondering if I need an additional power supply or if I should return these and try a different one. If I can't get it to work I'll have to ge him an analog system.

Correct, I tried 2 sets of EOCs on 2 diff ports & neither lit up. He has an older analog camera system (installed in 2012), I did see the cameras functioning on the old system this morning. Is it possible that the coax is still good for the analog, but not for the ip cameras?

They are LTS PRO-VS model: VSIP3442W-28MA. For the ethernet cables I purchased pre-made cat6 wips that are 12" long.

My return window for the EOCs is 7/19. I have 3 of them and I tried 2. I did order the ones above that Empiretecandy recommended from amazon. I should've been able to just plug one in at the camera and the other at the NVR, power up the system and be good to go? No other steps to activate? If...

Yes, I did connect one of the cams directly to the nvr & it worked while I had another one on a diff port with the EOC convertor. I also tried swapping the cat6 cables, and a different port. I did check the power usage screen, the cam hooked directly to the nvr was using like 3watts. The other...

The NVR is from LTS model VSN8104-P4 4-ch, 1 sata, 4 POE, Mini 1U,H.265&4K, 48V DC. I did verify the trans & rcvr were in the correct position. I even swapped position to make sure I didn't have them backwards. I've never used EOC convertors before, Thank you for responding.
