Can I use presets with zoom feature cam?

I've got a few DS-2CD2786G2-IZS (2.8-12mm) connected to a DS-7608NI-I2/8P and I'm trying to set zoom presets in Live View. Unfortunately, the "Call" and "Set" buttons are greyed out. Are presets only for PTZ-cameras? Thanks!

    Arecont Vision?

I know this is an old thread, but I just thought I'd share my experience with the 10MP Arecont Vision Megavision compact - the AV10115 D/N to be specific. The heat disappation is very apparent, and this thing needs good ventilation. The lowlight shots are very disappointing compared to a 3MP...

Review - TOP-201 Super Mini 720P HD IP-Cam (The Cheapest IP Cam So Far !!)

Did you ever get an answer to this? I'm really interested in using a few of these cameras in a timelapse-rig powered by a raspberry PI. I have a few hikvision cameras now, using the snapshot feature in a shell script on the RPI.

POE on different power standards (120v AC, 230v AC etc etc) - confused

PoE (802.3af) does provides up to 15.4watts DC power and the end device is blissfully unaware of what the empowering device had to endure to provide this service :). The type of AC source is totally unrelated - if that part of the question still was unclear. PoE+ (802.3at) will add another...

Linksys ip cameras - worth it?

A Linksys 3mp dome ( http://www.linksys.com/no/p/P-LCAD03VLNOD/ ) came up on the local 2nd hand market, used a couple of weeks. Seller is asking for less than half price of the lowest domestic online shop - so it's tempting to try it out. I can't find much information online about this camera...

Camera mounting/encapsulation in extreme high-altitude conditions

Hey, and thanks for the reply. The topic was the result of an edit :), from extreme conditions ...and I decided to add high-altitude :). I agree indeed, it's not an extreme altitude. The total package is pretty rough though. The more I think about the maintenance-free part... the more I realise...

Camera mounting/encapsulation in extreme high-altitude conditions

Thanks for that link! Will look into that. I have mains power available though - so my main challenge is what to do with those blizzards nailing snowflakes to any surface :). The reason I'm thinking a heated dome won't do the job is just because I think a heat element can only do so much...

Camera mounting/encapsulation in extreme high-altitude conditions

Hi all, I'm looking for some advice in regards to mounting an ip (landscape overview) camera in very harsh conditions. This cabin is located at just above 1800 meters above sea, on a mountain with "a lot of weather". Snow in the winter is by far the worst problem, but winds with gale forces...
