    Talking about water...mine also gets exposed to water every time it rains. I get tons of motion notifications for the water that runs over the lens cover that bulges out. Has anyone figured out some kind of "visor" to protect it?

    If you look at my other post, I fixed it by "stretching" the spring of the chime.

    I fixed it! Now I get both a ding and a dong. I stretched the chime spring and made it a bit longer. I am guessing adding the camera lowered the speed at which the piston moves so that it wasn't coming back fast enough to hit the upper metal plate. Adding a little more resistance to the spring...

    Thank you! That stopped the buzzing. However, now my bell dings but doesn't dong. I can live with that though.

    Where exactly does the resistor go? The picture on the manual show it in series after the camera. However, I don't know how to solder, and I don't have room for a connector behind the camera. If there is a placement that does not require soldering it would be great. My chime is also buzzing like...
