    Blue Iris Android app crash

The last update killed the app. Don't bother doing an uninstall and reinstall. I already tried that and it didn't make any difference whatsoever. We have 3 Android phones and two of them no longer work. The 3rd one, I was able to go in and uncheck 'Auto Update', as soon as it was powered...

    Spider Webs

FWIW this is what I use. You can find it on ebay etc. Not cheap, but very effective. I paid around $39 for 1 pint which will make about 16 one gallon mixes. It works on my outside cameras for about a month and a half at each spraying. Less if exposed to rain. (I spray a band around the...

    POE powered splitter?

My home is all brick so I didn't want to start drilling a lot of holes to run Ethernet cables. I use several of these to run pairs of Hikvision cameras. But, I use a POE+ power injector to ensure that they don't starve for power...

BI Android App 2.0.43 and .42

I had the same problem and 2.0.43 solved it. But, somehow, the LAN address I had changed from 192.168.1.xx to 292.168.1.xx. Changed it back and all is OK again.

    Wilife Command Center cameras

There will be an IP address for each device using the Home Plug. You can go into your router configuration and assign a 'fixed' LAN address for each camera/MAC address so that it is doesn't change.

Android APP was killed by the latest update (4.4)

Try to start the app and it just says" UNFORTUNATELY, Blue Iris has stopped! Never had a problem before the latest update. Powered phone off/on many times with the same result. So, I no longer have alerts while I'm away. Is there a way to back off an update for the app? Thanks, Rich

I lost all motion detection with ver 4.2.1

Thanks. I didn't realize that I could just run an older update file. I used your link from another thread to download 4.1.6.1 and that resolved my problem. I'll be out a lot over the weekend and was worried I wouldn't get alerts while away. I'd like to get back to 4.1.9 though. Is that...

I lost all motion detection with ver 4.2.1

I have 8 cameras. A mix of Hikvision and Logitech. After I updated to 4.2.1 today, none of the cameras trigger on motion detection. (Well, actually, two still do but with problems, see below for that) I noticed a spider web on two cameras and they weren't triggering alerts. So I started...
