I registered just to reply to this post. The lack of alternative OS/browser support is infuriating to me. Other than installing the ActiveX plug-in, there wasnt anything else special that i had to do to get the ActiveX feed working on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 using IE... but who uses IE...
